Sands Murray-Wassink
A cult queer personality on the Amsterdam art scene for almost twenty years, Sands Murray-Wassink (born in 1974 in Topeka, Kansas, USA. Lives in Amsterdam) is a painter, body artist and bipolar writer, perfume collector, strongly influenced by the multiple manifestations and evolutions of intersectional feminist queer art of which the artists Carolee Schneemann, Hannah Wilke and Adrian Piper are the essential references.
